Summer Planning
June 15, 2011Off to Alaska
June 17, 2011I'm traveling for work this week. One of the big challenges of business travel is maintaining your workout routine. You may be in long hours of meetings and facilities may be limited.
Many hotels that cater to business are developing much better workout facilities and leaving them open around the clock (typically accessed by your room key). The quality of the equiopment tends to be way better too.
If you are a runner or a walker, a nice run or walk is a great way to get a sense of the area you are visiting.
If you don't have access to a workout facility and you can't run (because you don't like it, it isn't safe, or you have no daylight hours), it's not a bad idea to develop a basic workout (pushups, crunches, squats, etc.) that you can do in a hotel room.
