I've spent the last few weeks in the writing zone. The manuscript for my next book was due today, so I've been using every available minute to write and edit.

I'm tired.

But when I'm in the writing zone, everything is fodder for the project I'm working on. All other chores go to the backburner while I'm working. I can get so focused that I miss conversations going on around me. Clearly, I am not a good party guest when I'm in the writing zone.

But now I'm out, at least for a little while. I plan a few days' of break before I get back into the swing of things.
