I absolutely love autumn, but I have to admit to some ambivalence about spring. 

I like seeing trees starting to bud and watching the greening of the world.  I love the sense of possibility and new beginnings, the longer hours of daylight, the warmer weather that consigns the bulky coats and boots to the back of the closet, and the beginning of fresh fruits and veggies.

On the downside, the pollen makes breathing an event.  Rain is lovely when you can hang out in the house with a good book.  It’s less entertaining when you have to be out and about in it.  I’m not much of a gardener, so that’s not a big selling point.  And there’s swimsuit season just ahead.

So my feelings are mixed.  How about yours?
