Activity of the Week 34
October 24, 2012Not Much to Say Today
October 26, 2012Thanksgiving is four weeks from today! That means it's time to plan!
•Clear space in your freezer and refrigerator. You're going to need it. Of course, if Hurricane Sandy hits me this weekend, I could lose power for several days and have to toss everything!
•De-clutter your house. Just 10 minutes every day between now and Thanksgiving is over 6 hours of cleaning time!
•Purchase any serving ware or table linens you might need. Shopping now may mean you won't get the best sales, but you'll get the best selection. Remember, try to avoid holiday themed serving ware that will take up lots of space and have limited use.
•If you are hosting, schedule the big tasks: the "big" clean, grocery shopping, table-setting and decor, cooking.
If at all humanly possible, avoid grocery shopping on November 17th or 18th. The stores will be a zoo.
•Finalize your Thanksgiving dinner menu.
