Thanksgiving is two weeks from today.  This week, focus on setting the stage:

• Declutter as much as possible and do as much of the major cleaning as you can.
• Make sure that all guest areas are as guest ready as possible and stage anything else you'll need (guest towels and linens, etc.)
• Check and double check your lists: grocery list, menus, server ware list, task schedule.
• Look through your task schedule and decide if there are one or two things you can delete and/or one or two things you can knock out early.
• If you want to order a fresh turkey directly from a producer, you need to do it in the next 2 days.
• Choose your soundtrack: Christmas music, classical music, jazz, whatever you want playing in the background as you eat.  No, watching the football game DURING dinner is a no.
