The Date of Easter
March 25, 2008Quarterly Review
March 31, 2008As we begin spring, here are some things you need to start thinking about:
- If you have children, you should begin making summer plans. The most popular camps fill up fast.
- If the kids will be at home all summer, now is a good time to start stockpiling craft supplies, games, and books. You can also start collecting craft ideas, day trip ideas, and the like.
- Begin researching your vacation plans. The more flexible your dates are, the lower the prices you can find. Also, remember that midweek flights are generally less expensive. As soon as you have basic plans sketched out, put your vacation on the calendar at work.
- If you haven’t bought a farm share through community supported agriculture, do visit www.localharvest.org to find out the dates and locations of farmers’ markets in your area. Make plans to visit these markets at least once or twice a month.
- Make plans for summer yard care. Either contract for services or make sure that your lawn mower and other tools are in top working order.
- If you plan to have a garden, you’ll need to do your planting almost immediately.
Enjoy spring!
