Sorry for the late post, but it's been a busy day.

If you live in a house, in the next few weekends, you need to schedule time to prepare your outdoor spaces for the coming winter.  Here are the basic tasks:

• Place storm windows if you haven't already.
• Clear gutters and downspouts.
• Clean and store screens.
• Clean and store or cover outdoor furniture.
• Prepare flower beds and garden areas for wonter.
• Put out bird feeders to take care of our feathered friends in the cold weather.
• Check the insulation around your doors and windows.
