Christmas Countdown – 5 Months
July 24, 2017One Choice
July 28, 2017Life can be overwhelming. (Duh. I know. I can hear you rolling your eyes from here.) There are just so many things you have to do — not to mention all the things you should do. It's like your playing paintball — you versus the fifth army. You are facing too much to have any hope of success.
So, between now and Labor Day, try a new approach. Pick one thing. Do it until it's done. Then move on. Anything else (barring a true emergency — like 911 will need to be called if you don't address it) gets put gently to the side until your done.
Now, I'm not talking epic projects like remodeling the house. Start small. "I'm going to clean my hall closet today." That means I don't break to start my laundry or to pick up the dry cleaning or to run to the library or to reorganize the fridge or to answer the email from work. See what I mean? One the closet is tidy, you can move to the next thing.
Take on the foes one at a time. It evens up the odds.
