The Women's March was an amazing experience. I'm very glad that I went, but it wasn't enough. It energized me, but that energy needs to be turned into action.

So, I've been thinking about some practical next steps:

• I've contacted all of my Congressional representatives to signed up for their email newsletters and Twitter feeds. I will be staying abreast of the issues before them and letting them know my opinions on a regular basis.
• I'm looking into some ways I can be involved in my community, both by volunteering and by keeping on top of local issues.
• I'm working to maintain connections with people I met or got to know through the March. Personal connections are powerful things.
