November 20, 2016If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner and you are using a frozen turkey, take it out of the freezer today so that it will have enough time to defrost in the fridge. (This is why you've been emptying your fridge for weeks.)
Defrosting in the fridge is safer than just leaving the turkey in the sink for a day. Botulism is not a welcome Thanksgiving guest. And you don't want to be attacking your turkey with a blow dryer on Wednesday night so that you can put it in the brine.
Thinking ahead can reduce your holiday stress.
