I realize that I haven't been around for a few weeks and I apologize.  I have had some house guests and some oral surgery and a big business trip. Plus I had some other events and gifts and other stuff (like the American Idol finale).

When my life gets out of control, I try to pare it down to the absolute essentials:  my job, eating, personal hygiene, keeping my home from becoming an absolute disaster.  Everything else just gets put on the back burner.  Unfortunately, that meant this blog. 

I am recommitting to weekday posts.  I will do my best.
