In many parts of the world, May 1 is a holiday.  In some places, May Day is the equivalent to Labor Day in the United States — a day to honor workers and to rest.

For those who follow the old path, it is Beltane, one of the great feasts.  It is a day that celebrates new life and light, hope and growth.  On Beltane, all is new, all bears life.  It is a day to assuage the senses and celebrate!  Bright blessings.
