Cooking Ahead
October 5, 2016The Value of Doing Nothing
October 12, 2016For many people, Columbus Day weekend is a long weekend. For our Canadian neighbors, it's Thanksgiving weekend. So let's plan to use it well.
Fall weather is glorious! It's a great time to get outside and be active:
Work to prepare your yard for the winter.
Go apple or pumpkin picking.
Take a hike or a bike ride to enjoy the early fall leaves.
Decorate for Halloween.
If the weather where you are is bad, it's a good weekend to do some de-cluttering, to switch out winter for summer clothes, to get a start on crafting for Christmas gifts, or to catch up on those back magazines.
As for me, I'll be visiting my mom to assist with de-cluttering and then heading off to homecoming at my college. Football and a tailgate party with friends old and new. I can't wait!
