It's noon on Christmas Eve and you haven't finished shopping yet.  Here are some last minute options:

• Most grocery stores and drug stores offer a variety of gift cards.  And they'll be open until 6 pm.
• Many online stores will allow you to purchase and print out a gift certificate.
• You can get a magazine subscription.  Stop at a convenience store and get the current issue.  Use one of the cards inside to order a subscription and place this month's issue under the tree.
• Make a gift certificate for a service or an event.  (e.g., This certificate entitles X to dinner and a movie, 5 hours of babysitting, a batch of homemade cookies, etc.)

And next year, you'll start earlier!
