So There’s a Turkey Carcass in My Fridge
November 23, 2007Some Favorite Places to Shop
November 25, 2007Hello. My name is Elf and I’m a Christmas ribbon addict.
I don’t understand it, but whenever I see a sale on the wide wired Christmas ribbon, I just have to buy it. Right now, I have enough Christmas ribbon in my house to stretch the length of a football field, goal post to goal post (including the end zones). For those not acquainted with American football, that’s more than 120 yards or 40 3-yard bows. That is a ridiculous amount of ribbon.
I am having a crafting weekend, rediscovering my love of counted cross stitch. I haven’t done it in about 10 years, but it’s surprising how fast it comes back.
This is why I promote planning ahead and being well-organized. It gives you the ability to spend large blocs of time with the people you love doing things that give you joy. What’s better than that?
I actually find joy in shopping and wrapping and entertaining and crafting and cooking. If you don’t, that’s absolutely fine. Decide what gives you joy and use the planning tips in this blog to free up time so you can do that — whatever it is.
