On Saturday, my best friend and I shared a lovely treat — an in-home spa visit.

There are an increasing number of companies that offer in-home (or in- office) spa services.  Some companies offer limited services (usually nail services or massage), while others offer almost all the services you could get in a stand-alone spa.  They bring everything to your home and clean everything up when they are done.

It’s a wonderful luxury to be able to enjoy spa services in the comfort of your own home and not have to change and drive home.  I love getting a pedicure and being able to walk around barefoot until my nails dry.

I used a great service in the DC area. It’s called the Wright Touch Travelling Spa (www.wrighttouchspa.com).   The company is owned by twin sisters — both of them drop dead gorgeous and incredibly well-trained aestheticians.  I highly recommend them.  They are opening a stand-alone location which I plan to patronize as well.
