Five years ago today I started this blog. Nearly 900 posts and over 15,000 views later and I'm still blogging.

In the meantime, I've gotten a new dag (the fabulous Hershey), traveled to my last 2 continents, lost 30 pounds, finally managed to run a mile, and begun to glimpse how much I have yet to learn.

For all my readers who have come to the blog recently, welcome. To folks who have been with me from the beginning, thank you.
