For me at least, February weekends tends to be great opportunities to get caught up on projects. Unless you throw a big Valentine's or Mardi Gras event, there aren't big holidays to plan for. For school and work, things are pretty much in the flow. So, what to do on a winter weekend: •Spend some time in the kitchen making broths, soups, casseroles, and other dishes that freeze well. You'll be grateful when things get super busy.
•Plan ahead by gathering documentation for your taxes or researching summer camp options.
•Get through that "to be read" magazine pile.
•Work on a craft project.
•Clear out the DVR by watching all the stored shows.
•Clean a closet or drawer.

It's amazing how much you can accomplish on a winter weekend.
