15 Minutes or One Task
September 20, 2010Fall Foods
September 22, 2010Even though it's technically not fall yet (fall begins on Thursday), there's definitely been a hint of fall in the air these last few days.
I don't know about you, but fall always gives me a jolt of extra energy. Spring does the same thing. It's like the transition seasons give me desire and energy to do things and make changes. In the summer, I just want to lie on the hammock with a good book and a cold beverage. In the winter,I want to sit by the fire with a good book and a warm beverage.
I'm trying to use this energy to make progress on projects that have lingered too long. I have re-committed to my fitness program, to my efforts to plan effectively, to trying to make healthier food choices. I know it will often be one steps forward and two steps back, but the key is to keep moving and to use the energy available to build good habits that last beyond the season.
15 minute check in: Today's 15 minutes (ok, it was more than that) was doing the grocery shopping and the dishes I'd put off way toolong.
