‘Tis the day before Christmas. And this is what all of our countdown posts have prepared us for. Our preparations complete, we are ready to enter into celebrations.

I will begin my celebration with a traditional Slovak Christmas Eve dinner. Then, we will go to the late Mass, arriving home at about midnight for a late night snack before bed. When we awaken, there will be a lovely Christmas breakfast bef.ore we pile into the car to head to a family celebration

When we return home Christmas night, full of good food and good fun, we’ll have time for one last cup of cocoa or mulled wine before we head off to sleep — and to continuing our celebration through the season.
