Some Truly Wonderful Ideas
December 1, 2010Christmas Countdown – Three Weeks
December 3, 2010As our preparations for Christmas intensify, it's easy to fall into bad, unhealthy habits.
Instead of eating healthy, home-cooked meals, it may seem easier to grab fast food at the mall food court. You might replace your workouts with holiday errands. You may think it's good to stay up until the wee hours to address cards, wrap presents, or finish crafts.
None of these are good choices.
One of the reasons to spread out your tasks is so that you can keep your good habits in place. Getting sufficient rest and exercise and eating healthy meals will help you to be more productive in your efforts. And healthy habits will make it less likely that you will find yourself ill over the holidays.
So, as we get closer to Christmas, make a special effort to work out, eat well, and get some sleep. It will be worth it.
