New Year's Eve is one of those holidays about which people have a wide divergence of opinion. 

For some,including me, it's a night to go out on the town to eat, dance, and celebrate.  For others, it's the perfect night to stay home and share a special dinner with loved ones.  Some prefer to keep their focus on New Year's Day and the parades and football. Still others don't care at all and treat it like any other night of the year.
