An Amusing Anecdote

May 10, 2018Now that spring seems to have arrived to stay (when I was still wearing mittens in April, I was beginning to wonder), we will begin to live more of our lives outdoors.
A first step in this process is to bring the outdoors in. Here are some things you might try:
- Open the windows whenever you are at home during daylight hours. It’s amazing how fresh air can change the way a room feels. A gentle breeze will blow the stuffiness out of your house and get you ready for summer.
- If you don’t have houseplants, consider starting some herb seedlings (available at nurseries or garden centers). Not only will these living things brighten your windowsills, but once the herbs grow a bit, they will add freshness and flavor to your summer cooking.
- Treat yourself by buying flowers for your home and/or office.
