Spend versus Waste
April 29, 2015Abundance of Good Things: Part 1
May 4, 2015In many parts of the world, May 1st is Labor Day. But an ancient celebration on this day (still observed by some) is Beltane.
On Beltane, we honor the created world, celebrating its beauty and fertility as we enter the summer growing season. So, make your meals of fresh-harvested fruits and vegetables. Wash your face in Beltane dew. Dance around the maypole. Picnic under the stars. Bring flowers inside. Nap in a hammock. Recycle. Go for a walk. Watch the sun rise or set.
Whatever you do, take special note of the world around you and give thanks.
