I was watching the American Idol Finale last night. (It's been a disappointing reality season.)  One thought remains in my mind:

Whatever happened to good grooming?

Is it really that challenging to bathe, comb your hair, wear clothing that fits and is appropriate to the occasion? 

I don't go to the gym in heels and I don't come to the office in workout clothes.  But, in all cases, I at least start out in a presentable fashion.  (After a session in the gym, all bets are off!)

Summer fashions, even in most office environments are less formal.  But informal doesn't mean sloppy.  At least it shouldn't.
