I went into the grocery store on Wednesday to pick up a few things for a dinner party.  There was a huge display of Halloween candy by the door!

For those buyers who have misplaced their calendars, Halloween is more than 2 months away.  Yes, it's fine to have Halloween craft suplies on sale or the things needed to create a costume.  Those things take time, planning, and preparation. 

Preapring Halloween candy requires opening the bag and pouring it into a bowl.  What's that take — maybe 45 seconds? 

Could we please just celebrate the days as they come?  I'm still enjoying summer.  There will be plenty of time to enjoy autumn and Halloween as October draws near.
