Finding Time
July 26, 2011How Do You Use Your Commute?
July 28, 2011I often get so focused on big projects and urgent deadlines, that I let the little things go — like sorting the mail, emptying the dishrack, sewing buttons back on, etc. I always think, "That won't take long. I'll do it when I get a minute." Of course, the minute never comes.
There's something to be said for scheduling an afternoon or evening to attack all those little things. Keep a list — on paper or in your phone. Then, go through the list one thing at a time. If each thing takes 5-10 minutes, in one three hour session, you can easily check off more than 20 tasks.
Then you should treat yourself to ice cream!
